THE FUTURE OF DEEP FOUNDATIONS,
WHO ARE WE?
We are the company that has developed the new versions of the Expander Body as a foundation element. The Expander Body (EBI) was initially developed in Sweden during the 1980s and then evolved in Bolivia, changing the way we think about foundations.
HOW IT WORKS
Expander Body (EB) is a cylindrical body made of folded steel that is placed on the tip of the pile or anchor and then expanded by injection of cement grout.
This injection process is monitored electronically in order to obtain records similar to a pressuremeter test, providing geotechnical information in 100% of the installed elements.
With more than 25,000 Expander Bodies (EBI) installed in more than 250 projects and in over 15 countries, we have created special solutions for foundations of all kinds: in urban areas, in places with limited space, for bridges, industries and complex projects in general.
Greater quality control
Geotechnical information in 100% of the elements installed
Increases the load capacity to compression and tension of each element.
Increases the cross section of the tip of the piles and anchors.
Densifies and pre-consolidates the soil surrounding the EBI.
Increases the tensile capacity of the anchors.
Allows the reduction of the bulb length of the anchors.
High performance yields.
Self-drilling EBI version for micropiles and anchors.
Adaptable to any drilling equipment.
Can be installed with different methods: drilling, vibration, jacking, pushing, as a self-drilling element, etc.
